Our story

Onyx & Oak Homes was created to offer a different approach: plan the entire build before we break ground, put the price in writing, and keep you updated every week from design to move-in. The goal from day one has been to treat every client's investment with the care it deserves, and to take the surprises out of building.

Onyx & Oak Homes was founded by Clint Davenport, whose background spans business ownership, leadership, and hands-on residential construction.
After building his own home from the ground up and managing complex projects firsthand, Clint saw that the hardest problems in homebuilding rarely come from craftsmanship. They come from unclear expectations, poor coordination, and a lack of professional oversight. Onyx & Oak was established to answer those problems with a fixed price, one accountable point of contact, and communication you never have to chase.
As the company grows, those principles stay non-negotiable: we protect the trust our clients place in us, the budgets they hand us, and the people who bring each home to life.
